Darebin City Bowling Club – 5/4/05 Commonwealth Games venue…….

We have just completed the reconstruction of the Darebin City Bowling Club, the Commonwealth Games bowls venue in March. We were given a limited timeframe to complete the reconstruction of the four greens to allow sufficient time for the grow-in phase before the first tournament in early November. 

Twin Creeks, Penrith, NSW.  20/5/05 Grow In………

This 18 hole golf course and residential development will be completed in October 2005.  Construction has been undertaken on all holes and the grow-in phase is currently underway in preparation for the October opening.  The course is surrounded by an exclusive housing development, and one of the finest Peppers hotels offering excellent panoramic views throughout the course.

Elwick Racecourse, Hobart, Tasmania. 29/5/05 …….

McMahon’s are currently completing renovation works to Elwick racecourse, located in Hobart, Tasmania. We were approached for the use of or 3D machinery to level the resurfaced tracks, and contracted to undertake the task of achieving the 0+10 mm tolerances on the sand medium as specified by the consultants. With the use of our technology we were comfortable able to achieve this, and as always, without the use of any stakes.

Eynesbury Golf Course, Exford. 1/6/05………

McMahon’s recently commenced another 18 hole championship course in Melton, Victoria.  This course in located some 35km west of Melbourne and is designed by Graham Marsh Golf Design. It is a joint development between Villa World & Woodhouse Pastoral. McMahon’s will oversee the development of this flat pasture land into a signature GMGD course.  Works on the first 9 are progressing ahead of schedule and McMahon’s will head into the second 9 later this year.  Expect the opening to be around the beginning of 2007.
