Beveridge, VICTORIA Currently under construction, the Mandalay Golf Course at Beverage, Victoria will feature within a surrounding residential estate. A Thompson Perret designed course, Mandalay will be constructed to integrate with the surrounding landscape to create a picturesque township. The environment for which this course is being constructed, draws on the extensive experience and construction methodologies employed by McMahons. With the project nearing the end of construction and with 13 holes now completed, the all important grow in phase is well underway. The environment has changed considerably from a large scale construction site to now manicured tees, fairways and greens. Mandalay is due for completion in 2012. |
Manly, New South Wales. Our most recently commenced project will see us undertake renovations works to this highly regarded course. Located just a few blocks from Manly's famous beaches, Manly Golf Club is one of Australia's oldest golf clubs, celebrating its Centenary in 2003 The extent of works are extensive from initial survey and set out and removal of obsolete infrastructure i.e. paths, timber, sumps, drainage, irrigation, through to bulk earthworks, construction of storm water harvesting pond, spillway, overland flow swale and downstream creek works and the all important fine shaping of tee, green, and bunker complexes including tertiary drainage prior to turf grassing.

Wilton, NEW SOUTH WALES. Construction of the prestigious Par 72 championship golf course at Bingara Gorge is well underway. The 18-hole course has been designed to take advantage of the region’s natural assets by showcasing undulating fairways and multiple tee areas to satisfy social and serious golfers alike.
The course layout, which meanders through spectacular gorges and bush land and designed by internationally acclaimed golf course designer Graham Marsh.
The course has been designed and will be constructed in an environmentally sustainable manner with minimal impact upon the landscape, consistent with a commitment to being a Green Smart community.

Torquay, Victoria. Works begun in March 2011 on the redevelopment of this course located at the start of the Great Ocean Road. Occupying approximately 48 ha. the course redevelopment is part of a major upgrade of the facilities at the RACV Torquay Resort.
Setting this project aside from others is the requirement for the course to remain open and operational for the duration of the construction.
Designed by Ogilvy Clayton, construction of the course will be staged and due to be completed in 2013. The redevelopment incorporates the reconstruction of greens, tees, bunkers and surrounding fairways in addition to the commissioning of a new irrigation system including the construction of new dams and amendments to existing dams.
